PARENTING 101-Potty steps.

Daddy-Daughter Potty Training
As kids grow up they need to be trained in Potty using rather than always wearing diapers. Many kids are not ready until around age 2. The lockdown covid time plus my working from home routine  has blessed me with ample time to be with my kids. These are moments that I treasure especially as a kid having spent a prolonged period away from my parents . These time has given me a great bonding time with my kids.
My daughter who was just about an year old when the first lockdown begun has given me lots of special moments.
Today I celebrate her for another milestone. Having bought her a potty 6 months ago she was not interested in using it . It became another toy. I had to keep in sight to condition her mind. Two days ago I decided it was time to train her to start using it. I sat her down and told her I will teach her to use the Potty. I told her to use it every time she wants to pee or pupu.
Later when she had an urge to pee she nudged me for the potty. Surprisingly she has been using it going forward seamlessly for all her toilet needs. She even picks the potty and pours the Susu in the toilet then goes and washes her hands and dries them.
At her age I guess my kind of hygiene was some soft wild leaves we called 'maigoya' or just sliding our young ass on wet grass.
I'm proud of all these moments. I'm glad that my business allows me to work from home and experience these special times with my children.
I always encourage Dads and Mums to look for opportunities to create moments  that they can cherish with their families. I'm happy that my Norland business allows me to do these with ease. Using Digital marketing and advertising, online money transaction,an intergrated online business management system,Online meetings , training and events  as well as courier and rider delivery services i can work worldwide from the comfort of my home .
Together with my daughter we both achieve our growth ,one step at a time.
I gifted her a brand new potty for her achievement.
